Transformer explosion-proof substations of PKTVM type are designed to supply with three-phase current of electric receivers which are installed in underground dangerous for gas (methane) and (or) dust workings and also to provide protection of leakage outflows and maximum current protection of the low voltage line.

The substation consists of:

• a power transformer;
• a high-voltage switchgear (RUVN) that is equipped with a disconnector;
• a low voltage switchgear (RUNN) that is equipped with an automatic switch, a leakage relay, devices, protection and monitoring units;
• chassis that is made in the form of a sled to which it is possible to fasten wheel pairs for movement along a shaft track 900 mm or 600 mm wide.

MINE STARTER OF THE NORMAL PERFORMANCE 1PRN

The starter is designed to turn on the electric motor as well as to protect its outflows of short circuits, overloading and reducing of insulation resistance under normal operating conditions in three-phase alternating current networks with isolated neutral.
The starter is designed to work in mines that are not dangerous for gas or dust and in workings with fresh air of mines of I and II categories in gas or dust hazardous according to NPAO 10.0.-1.01-10 " Rules of Safety in Coal Mines" and also in the underground workings of mines (except for excavations in which the gas regime was introduced in the fuel and explosives warehouses), according to NPAOP.O.O.-1.34-71PB 03-553-03 for Russia) "Uniform safety rules for the development of ore, nonmetallic and placer deposits in the underground way "and" Safety rules for by a dense method of salt deposits of the Republic of Belarus".

Perfomance: mine normal RN1.

Voltage: 380; 660; 380/660 V.

Current: 32; 63; 80; 125; 160; 250 A.

Completion: vacuum contactors (63-250 A) and air contactors (32.63 A) of Russian or Ukrainian production in accordance with the customer’s order.

Control: local; remote control for intrinsically safe circuits; both types of management; manual reversing.

Protection against short-circuit currents K3 with adjustable set-point; from long-term technological overload and overturning; from a decrease in the insulation resistance of the outgoing circuits; from engine overheating.

Indication on demand of the customer can be completed with a current indicator as well as a load recorder with a removable flash drive.

Advantages: a light and sturdy casing, modern circuitry, a high level of unification with an 1VRN switch, the possibility of using for responsible and heavily loaded machines and mechanisms.
