Reinforced cuffs (GOST 8752-79)
Rubber reinforced cuffs (with a spring) are still called oil seals. This is a very common type of cuffs. It is used in almost all industries. The main functions of the cuff are to protect the assembly (mainly the stem and cylinder) from the penetration of dust and dirt and seal the joint.
The cuff is designed to work in various liquids such as mineral oil, diesel fuel, water. In this case it is able to maintain its working properties at a temperature of -20 ° C to + 170 ° C, an overpressure of up to 0.5 MPa and a speed of up to 20 m / s depending on the technical characteristics of the rubber from which the cuff is made.
Hydraulic cuffs (GOST 14896-84, TU 38.1051725-86, GOST 6969-54)
Hydraulic cuffs are designed to seal the clearance between the cylinder and the piston (plunger and rod) in hydraulic devices operating in reciprocating motion at a speed of relative displacement of not more than 0.5 m / s.
Working pressure of hydraulic cuffs: from 0.1 to 50 MPa.
Operating temperature of hydraulic cuffs: from -60 ° C to + 200 ° C.
Working stroke of hydraulic cuffs: up to 10 m.
The frequency of operation of hydraulic cuffs: up to 0.5 Hz
Pneumatic cuffs (GOST 6678-72)
Pneumatic cuffs are designed for sealing cylinders and rods of pneumatic devices operating at a pressure of 0.005 to 1 MPa (0.05-10 kgf / cm2) with a speed of reciprocating motion up to 1 m / s.
The cuffs are operable at t ° from -65 ° C to + 100 ° C (depending on the rubber group).
Pneumatic cuffs are often called and denoted - collar or even "collars".
Chevron cuffs (GOST 22704-77)
Cuffs chevron (M) rubber fabric for sealing of rods and cylinders of hydraulic devices with a diameter up to 2000 mm which are operate at a pressure of up to 63 MPa with a speed of reciprocating motion of 3 m / s in mineral oil, oil, fresh and sea water, aqueous emulsions at a temperature from -50 ° С to + 100 ° С (for a short time up to + 120 ° С).
Support rings (SR) and pressure rings (PR) are used in a set of chevron rubber-fabric seals (chevron cuffs) for rods and cylinders of hydraulic devices. The choice of the number of cuffs in the set depends on the pressure of the working medium and the size of the sealing mechanism. The set is fitted with a pressure ring, then the cuffs and at the end the support ring.
Chevron cuffs are made of polyurethane, rubber MBS, fluoroplastic. To increase the temperature and pressure of the operation, asbestos tissue can be used instead of the tissue of domestics.
SR / PR are made of rubber fabric, of fluoroplastic, caprolon, polyurethane, textolite, bronze, plexiglass, ebonite, rubber MBS, fluorine rubber, santoprene.
V-belts (GOST 1284.1-89, 1284.2-89, IS 2494, BS 3790, DIN 2215, ISO 4183, 4184)
Driven wedge belts of normal sections are intended for drives of machine tools, industrial plants and agricultural machines. Temperature range of working capacity in the environment of ambient air is from -30 ° С to + 60 ° С. Maximum belt speed should not exceed 30 m / s.
Ventilator belts (GOST 5813-93, TU 38.10599-83, BS 3790)
Ventilator belts are designed to transfer movement from the motor shaft to the working units of cars, buses, tractors and combines.
The operating temperature range in the ambient air environment (outside the engine compartment) is from -40 ° C to + 60 ° C. The temperature should not exceed 80 ° C in the zone of the belt.
Narrow-wedge belts (TU 38.105.1998-91, BS 3790)
Driven wedge belts of narrow sections are designed for V-belt drives of agricultural machines, cars, industrial equipment. Classic V-belts can be replaced with narrow-wedge but not conversely (the reason is transmitted power).
Variator belts (GOST 26379-84, RMA IP-25, ISO 3410, BS 3733)
Wide V-belts are intended for variators of agricultural machines. Temperature range of working capacity in the environment of ambient air is from -30 ° С to + 60 ° С.
The design of the molded dent provides better flexibility and allows significantly reduce the heating of the belt during operation.
Variatory belts work with side edges. They are antistatic and oil resistant and provide a quiet, smooth stroke for the mechanism.
Multi-rounder belts (TU 38.105.1998-91, ISO 5291, BS 3790, ISO 5290)
Multipurpose belts are designed for V-belt gears of combine harvesters and other agricultural machines.
Multi-ribbed belts are a strong elastic longitudinally but rigid across drive element due to a single base (connecting tape).
Polyclinic belts (TU 38 105763-89; 2565-075-00149647-96; 353-092-00149289-97; 2563-027-00152106-01; 38405-51 / 3-4-3; RMA IP-26)
Polyclinic belts are used for transferring of torque at high engine speeds with pulleys of small diameter. They combine the extraordinary elasticity of flat belts with a good power transmission of the wedge belt.
The upper base of the belts is flat. On the bottom base there are longitudinal dents of triangular cross section which are located in the grooves of the pulley. The poly-V-belt provides more power because of the dented contact surface of the poly-V-belt with the pulley which is about 3 times larger than the contact surface of the flat belt of the same width.
Polyclinic belts are used in severe operating conditions, in drives with large gear ratios, in drives with high speeds or at small diameters of belt pulleys and tension blocks. Polyclinic belts perfectly withstand a test in winding drives and with large gear ratios. Belts due to efficient operation and transfer of large loads are suitable for compact drives both in home appliances and in heavy machinery units.
Hexagon belts (IS 11038, RMAIP-21, ISO 5289)
Hexagonal belts are used in engines where several pulleys move simultaneously clockwise and counterclockwise. A stretched cord of polyester is located in the center of the design and provides extreme belt flexibility and low extensibility. Cordless is not subject to any forces because of this arrangement.
Hexagonal belts are commonly used in machinery and rice mills.
Round belts are designed for the use in low-power transmissions at medium speeds as well as in transfers of complex contours of machines, plants, appliances, household appliances instead of leather belts, PVC and rubber.
Round belts are used in all industries to transfer power in low-loaded gears at medium speeds, for example, in labeling machines, in mechanisms for transporting light loads.
The round belts have different colors depending on the technical properties: yellow, orange, green (the most common), white, blue and black. The desired quality (color) is selected depending on the application conditions.
Dented belts are used in small and medium power drives as well as in places where the electric conductivity of the belt drive is excluded.
There are two types of dents depending on their shape: trapezoidal (MXL, XL, L, H, XH, XXH, T 2,5 / 5/10/20; AT 5/10/20) and semicircular (M 2/3/5 / 8/14/20).
The dented belts are made of chloroprene (rubber) (MXL, XL, L, H, XH, XXH, M) and polyurethane (T, AT) depending on the material.
Chloroprene belts are always black, polyurethane - any other.
